For this month we have a walking
Monday! There’s something magical
about an autumn walk through Par-
co nord—the crisp air, the crunch
of fallen leaves, and the warm glow
of morning sun filtering through
golden trees. on Monday, 13 octo-
ber, the Benvenuto Club invites you
to experience a nice walk, repro-
posing one of Milan’s favorite green
escapes, after we were unable to
visit in september.
stretching across 600 hectares
on Milan’s northern edge, Parco
nord is more than just a park—
it’s a testament to transformation.
once an industrial landscape, it has
blossomed into a thriving natural
haven, now carefully managed by
six municipalities and the Province
of Milan. Every path, grove, and
meadow tell a story of ecological
regeneration, offering a peaceful re-
treat from the city’s bustle.
walking Monday is more than ex-
ercise; it’s a chance to connect with
friends, meet new ones, and savor
the season together. Feel the au-
tumn breeze as you stroll past am-
ber leaves and watch the sunlight
dance through the trees. This time,
we’ll enjoy a single 5 km route
(about one hour). afterwards, you’re
welcome to join us at the park, ki-
osk sun strac, for a panino or a
light lunch.
