Hike to the Earth Pyramids of Rezzago
(with lunch at an agriturismo
and chestnut picking!)
A hike in the beauty of autumn woods, our path will
lead us through one of the largest chestnut forests of
Lombardia, where it is possible to pick up chestnuts!
We will also meet strange earth sculptures… The
mushroom shaped pyramids of erosion, a bizarre geological
feature: one of the hidden treasures of our nearby territory.
We will have lunch at an agriturismo.
Meeting time and
point: 7:55am at Milano
Cadorna Railway
Station, in front
of the ticket office. At
8:09am, train to Asso
(arr. 9:30am).
Hike: Asso (400 m),
Enco (700 m), Piramidi
di Terra, Asso.
Lunch at Agriturismo

To come back:
4:53pm (or 5:33pm)
train from Asso to
Milano Cadorna (arr.
6:23pm or 6:53pm).
Difficulty: easy/medium;
ascent: 450 m,
descent: 450 m; walking
time (excluding
stops): 4h, 10km
Equipment: daily backpack, trekking boots and socks or good running shoes, trekking poles (if you use them),
comfortable clothes (T-shirt, jumpsuit), warm layer, rain
jacket, 1 litre bottle of water (canteen), identity card
Cost: €25 (includes insurance, does not include train
tickets and lunch) minimum 7 participants
