Walking Sunday

We’re thrilled to announce that Benvenuto Club’s Walking
Sunday is back this autumn! Our next walk will take
place on Sunday 21 September, and we’re heading to
one of Milan’s most expansive green areas: Parco Nord.
Stretching across approximately 600 hectares, Parco
Nord Milano lies between several neighborhoods on
the northern outskirts of the city. Originally conceived
in the late 1960s and officially recognized as a regional
park in 1975 by the Lombardy Region, Parco Nord is
now managed by a consortium of six surrounding municipalities
along with the Province of Milan.
This vast park is a unique green lung in one of Europe’s
most densely urbanized regions. It’s a symbol of ecological
regeneration, transforming a once-industrial landscape
into a thriving natural habitat.
Whether you’ve joined us before or are new to Walking
Sundays, this event is open to all Benvenuto Club members.
