Pot luck means: quello che capita! For more
than twenty years every June we have organized a cheerful get-together bringing our favorite dish, so every participant can taste each other’s specialities. You will eat what you will find,
A surprise. Everybody likes this event so much
that we repeat it every year, before we leave
for summer vacation. There is a group of ladies
that will help to set up the place in the morning,
then we also need some volunteers for the end
of the lunch for tidying up.
Time: 12:00 pm
Venue: garden of the Church of San Loren-
zo (Colonne di san lorenzo), Corso di Porta
Ticinese 35. looking at the main facade of the
church, on the right side there is a small garden,

The End-of-year Benvenuto Pot-luck lunch
means that each participant is kindly asked to
bring a savoury or sweet dish for 4–5 people —
possibly a specialty from your country!
a few bottles of wine are also very welcome.
Please send a message indicating the type of
dish you will bring.
Thank you, and we look forward to celebrating together!
For those who are not able to cook anything,
you will be kindly asked to pay €15 at the
entrance. The collected money will be a donation to the Church. Don Luca, the Chief Parroco kindly gave us this opportunity to
organize our lunch at the oratorio of the
Church.

Where is your mind most of the time? How to improve your listening and focus. Have you ever been in a conversation and realised you were already thinking about what to say next? We spend much of our time physically present, but mentally elsewhere — replaying, planning, or anticipating. This affects how we work, communicate, and relate to others. In conversations, we often believe we’re listening, but instead we interrupt, offer solutions, or interpret what’s being said through our own lens. This can lead to misunderstandings and disconnection. In this interactive session, you will explore what is happening in the mind in everyday situations. Laura will guide you in discovering how mental noise and habits affect communication, and you will practice new ways to listen that can transform your interactions. Listening is a skill that can be trained. Laura Artero is a counsellor and life coach, and a mindfulness teacher. She helps people become more aware of what is happening in their minds and work with their inner critical voice, so that they can transform blocks and fears. Her approach combines mindfulness, hypnosis, and practical tools, developed in the UK and now brought to Italy.
